LMF is the leading Austrian manufacturer of high pressure compressor systems for air, natural gas, technical and industrial gases (process gases) in the power range from 20 to 3000 kW (30 to 4080 hp) and for pressures up to 500 bar (7250 psi).

As a single source LMF offers design engineering, production, testing under full load, erection, start-up and related services in the LMF factory 30 km south of Vienna, with over 50 years of experience in the compressor business.

LMF compressors are designed and built in accordance with international standards such as DIN/ISO/VDE, API, ANSI, ASME, BS, NACE, ISC, TEMA, standards for hazardous area applications, relevant EMC/EMI requirements as well as all other applicable standards and requirements of the various classification societies such as BV, DNV, GL, LRS, RINA, ABS etc.

LMF 's quality management system is certified according to ISO 9001, products are CE marked if necessary.

LMF exports more than 90% of its production to countries all over the world for many different applications, mainly in the oil & gas producing (and transporting) industry, the chemical, petrochemical and plastics industry, and many more.

LMF generates a turnover in the range of 40 Mio Euro, with roughly 205 employees, amongst them a high percentage of engineers and highly specialized workers.
